Dallas, Texas: It was a humid, sun-drenched, June evening when Larry first proposed a date at the delightful Bistro 31, where his legal and business acumen could be appreciated more than the sweat on his brow mimicking a scene from Ben Hur, due to the Texas heat.On the first date, Heather, a dermatologist with a background in fine art, her skin glowing from a recently employed chemical peel and the Texas summer, basked in the charming, slightly wonkish personality of Larry.She found his bookish demeanor and his athletic build, developed over decades playing tennis and padel, immediately enticing. He quickly realized that she not only had a deep knowledge of obscurely named skin diseases, but also possessed superlative domestic skills, and a strong love of friends and family.The attraction was mutual and immediate. The first date ended with Larry suggesting a second -- dinner at the Dallas Petroleum Club, which was not, as Heather initially thought, a hipster jazz-club inspired by the Cuban jazz ensemble The Buena Vista Social Club. Rather, it was an elegant and traditional downtown club founded in the 1930s by local oilmen.It is at this iconic downtown Dallas locale that we look forward to celebrating our upcoming wedding with our dearest loved ones.We cannot wait to share our joy with all of you!XXxx

This love story is a tale of serendipity and serums, practically penned by a Latin Telenovela scribe with a minor in medical history.

In a sun-drenched metropolis of Texas: (even the tumbleweeds were in love) two souls meeting and mixing friends, family, and quality-time together. 

Our hero, one Lawrence Boniface Pascal, a specialist in Latin American law, and competitive tennis and padel player with a lethal forehand -- meets Dr. Heather Woodworth Goff, a dermatologist with a background in studio art, who loves cooking & gardening. 
Larry proposed; the date is set, and we're ready. Extroverted, exfoliated, and especially in love.


Pablo = master conversationalist, devoted son to Nanette and Larry Sr, and attentive father to Arturo and Oliver (teenage paragons of potential who have the fortune of calling him "Dad") His warm personality is paired with formidable expertise in all things Android and algorithmic. Should your smartphone falter or your website weep with outdated CSS, Pablo can swoop in like a gallant tech-renaissance knight to the rescue with a deftly applied line of JavaScript, while simultaneously regaling you with the latest interesting fact he read in the New Yorker. 

Pablo Pascal

One of the driving forces that led our bride and groom to their first date, Darryl is the sort of man who shows up early, fixes what's broken without fanfare, and loves his family with a devotion that it could be etched into granite. A former Air-Force Colonel, vice-wing commander,  diplomatic attache to the Phillipines and emissary of calm authority and creativity, Darryl blends diplomacy, discipline and daring. 
Now, having traded security-clearances for the convivial cabins of Southwest Airlines, he continues to command the skies with calm and cheerfulness as he collects new stories and experiences from his travels with which he regales his family and friends and any given fete.

Dara: A woman of indomitable spirit and dame of resilience who has not once, but twice-- bravely faced the diagnosis of breast cancer, and valorously lives with stable stage IV disease undauntingly continuing to travel and celebrate life. Dara has run multiple marathons, is a certified yoga-instructor, and dances like nobody is watching. Lover of all living things, Dara delights in caring for any creature under her charge. (if there is such a thing as reincarnation, anyone would be lucky to be a kitten rescued by her...) Married to Darryl, and mother to Amelia and Sawyer, she not only can tell you how to find treasures at a local thrift-shop, she is also a specimen of joy and defiance who reminds us that life is best lived lovingly and to the beat of one's own drum. 


Dara Insley

Meg: This ravishing savant of the circulatory system, glides through her cardiology clinic, her stethoscope gleaming like a statement necklace from a Parisian Runway in a world awash with men in monochrome scrubs; she has probably broken a few hearts along the way just by existing. She is a loving and devoted wife to her husband John, and manages the sublime balance of support and independence in her inspired parenting style to Jack and Henry. Meg is a culinary virtuosa and cookbook club founder who can give you practical tips on how to best accessorize your outfit. (her wedding veil is 'something borrowed'!)


Meg Sullivan

Susan: a melange of talents and a touch of the mystical. She performs the hula, a living poem written in motion and memory; she is a journalist and wordsmith of the highest order. Susan turns a phrase as well as she turns a roasted root vegetable. Her home is a verdant Eden of botanical splendor and she can teach you to propagate most plants. Her presence enriches the lives that have the good fortune of being in her orbit.  She is a creature of soil, soul and sentence, and her incredible capacity for empathy borders on the divine.  

Susan  Pagani

Elizabeth: Dermatological doyenne to residents of Santa Barbara, who helps sun-kissed socialites achieve their flawless exteriors with a sense of self-deprecatory humor that exfoliates as well as any chemical peel. A mother who values the awe her children inspire, a steadfast spouse to Eric, alongside a green thumb, and a great sense of domestic and sartorial style. She has probably read the latest American Book award-winning novel, while also being abreast of the latest alternative adaptogen to apply for epidermal enhancement.

Elizabeth Grossman

Jen: The matriarch of a bustling empire of influence who commands her PR firm as deftly as she does her domicile, with tenacity and tenderness. Her charm could broker peace with the most fractious of society, and the home she and Pablo share is a lively sanctuary where laughter abounds, and love is ladled as generously as the food around which the family gathers. 

Jennifer Pascal

Leslie: This paragon of professional prowess and award-winning pianist is the devoted daughter of Larry's Aunt Gloria, and has the gift of earnest conversation that can cover everything from quarterly compliance to one's life purpose. Leslie is an exquisite embodiment of both outward achievements with a tender heart full of boundless love for her family, friends, and her rescue dog, Molly.

This tempest of truth on the tennis court helped coach Larry to the NCAA Championships while at KU, and now does the same at TCU. He doesn't just coach, he transforms potential into performance. He turns salty truths into golden triumphs and engineers empathy into excellence through his precise candor that coaxes each player to perform at their best both on-and-off the court. 

Scott Perelman

Here is a man forged in the crucible of discipline and destiny, who began his odyssey befriending Larry at Jesuit High School, where he was sculpted by equal measures of rigor and righteousness. From there he ascended to that citadel of valor, aka the US Naval Academy, becoming a Navy carrier pilot, and now flies for United Airlines. For thirty wondrous years, he has been married to his radiant Greek bride, Malina-- a daughter of Spetses who gracefully swapped her veterinary scrubs to become a leading realtor of Annapolis where they made a home together with their three loving children, Kelly, Caroline, and Luke. 

Dan Koerschner

Tom: an athletic aesthete whose knowledge of cinema is as deft as his ability to carve a backhand. Tom's father was a founder of the original tennis club TBarM, at which Larry first played padel, and this sport is part of the warp and weft that brings his family together.  Dedicated to his wife (also named Heather) who shares his love of cats, Montana, and racquets, as well as their beguiling vocation: hand-built, exquisite, exact train models for the grand railways of the world, not toys, but miniature masterpieces of impeccable craftmanship.  A dear friend with a history of many winning partnerships at state-and-national level tennis and padel tournaments with our dearest groom.  

Tom Bartzen

Imagine a man of calm constitution, with dedication to those whom he holds dear. A faithful friend, a cherished confidante. Whose natural habitat is as much a dinner at a Tex-Mex restaurant as it is a softly glowing computer screen where he conjures digital models to encode amortization schedules and predictive financial modeling, drawing on his background in accounting. While life in its capricious whimsy has thrown him corporeal curveballs with injuries to his shoulder and knee, which he endures with quiet grace, channeling his energies into maintaining his friendships, and the secret logic of machines. 

Steve Finegan

Longtime colleague of the groom. Tim was an accomplished crew competitor at UCLA, which inspired his love of the book and movie "The Boys in the Boat." He is a graduate of SMU Law School, and a leader in international finance and managing partner at the firm where he recruited Larry.  Married to his charming wife Joanie, and proud father of two accomplished daughters, Tim continues to bring his adroit, energetic Senior Counsel skills to an active schedule of civic and business commitments. 

Tim Powers

Bill is the nexus from which Larry grew as a fledgling lawyer in the aviation industry. Bill's sharp business and legal acumen, and his appreciation of the Spanish language and Latin culture inspired Larry in his early law career. With his diverse set of interests ranging from jazz to tennis, to Latin American economics, Bill enriches the lives of those around him both literally and figuratively through his generosity of spirit. Married to his wife Yolanda (a Venezuelan beauty and competitive runner) with whom he is the parent of three adult children, Bill maintains an active international aviation practice at a leading Washington, DC law firm.

THUNDERSTORMS FORECASTED FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.We will have umbrellas provided on shuttles to the ceremony and back to the Petroleum Club. You may take and keep umbrellas provided on shuttles for use throughout the weekend and evening. For the wedding ceremony:There are TWO chartered buses:1. Hall Arts Hotel shuttle will leave by roughly 1:30pm as it has a second pick-up on the way to the ceremony.2. Fairmont Hotel shuttle will arrive around 2pm and depart around 2:20pm to arrive at the ceremony. BOTH SHUTTLES will take guests to the Petroleum Club after the ceremony. Please take umbrellas for personal use as the hotels are a couple of blocks walk at the end of the evening.

Often referred to as "the Prado on the Prairie", one of the largest collections of Spanish Art outside of Spain. The Museum was founded by Algur Hurtle Meadows, a Texas oil man who fell in love with Spanish art after visiting the Prado in Madrid.
